How to Access Your Moodboard Tool

  1. Go to “My Workspace” on your main navigation bar, and select “Moodboard”
  2. If you’d like to start fresh, select “CREATE NEW MOODBOARD”
  3. If you choose to continue working on a Moodboard that has already been created, just select your desired Moodboard and design away!

Best Ways to Make a Moodboard

A Moodboard should serve as inspiration for your next great collection, style, or any creative concept! Moodboards allow you to creatively organize all of your ideas into one cohesive project board. Additionally, your Moodboard allows you to effectively communicate your abstract ideas with your clients, or team members.

Oftentimes, designing a curated Moodboard will be the first step in your creative process. UpStyled Fashion allows you to pull inspiration from any image, color, video, or even song, to help tell your story.

At any time, feel free to share your Moodboards with other creatives in your network to collaborate in real-time, every step of the way. Once you’ve assembled your creative team, it’s important to assign each member their specific roles:

1. Viewer - The user can view your Moodboard and participate in the Group Discussion, but cannot make any real changes to the Moodboard itself.

2. Editor - The user is able to freely make any changes to your Moodboard, including uploading new images, rearranging content, deleting files, etc.

Once you feel comfortable with your Moodboard, feel free to upload it to your portfolio for the world to see. To do so, select the “Action” button found on the top right corner of your Moodboard:

Uploading an Image to Your Moodboard

Adding Colors to Your Moodboard

Especially when communicating with Manufacturers and Buyers, adding a specific color to your Moodboard is a great way to articulate your specific ideas. Our color picker tool allows you to select unique colors that coincide with your overall theme. After successfully uploading a color, be sure to give it a unique title!
